Breast Reduction

This 28 year old woman was evaluated for dramatically large breasts compared to her body size, causing symptoms of pain and rash. In addition, the breasts extended very laterally into the armpit region. Following consultation, she underwent breast reduction with a central pedicle technique to lift the breast mound and nipple complex. Her surgery was extended laterally into the armpit region to excise the redundant tissue which had caused problems with wearing a bra. Post op pictures were taken a her final visit, about 6 months after surgery All of her preoperative symptoms have cleared up. She is very content with her new breast size, which she feels fits her body and allows her to perform physical activities.
